A Few Things Happening Here...

Let's see.... we're freezing our butts off to start with... never got above 12F today, that's -11.1C for you metric people.
I must have really sold those 8 paintings, as I've received a check and will be installing them, along with 50 or so others on Saturday. Pretty good, I'd say... the money's already fallen in the hole... but the hole is not quite so deep and it's nice to have the work on someones wall.
The calls that are coming in are all for art delivery, installation and presentation... precious little painting/decorating work. One small job we'll start on Thursday.
Got a collaborative collage back from Greenfield the other day... I thought that this stage of it was good enough to make copies of... I've done that, but will continue to work on the piece. Working on some other projects... I'm not happy with what I've made for Edz Dylan birthday, it needs a little more attention. Gotta get something together for the Field Study Report... a list of our Mail Art blogs is my idea.
Anyway, stay warm and busy...

Congrats on the sales Jonathan. Sounds like its cold there. It snowed here yesterday and then it quickly turned to slush and then rain and sleet and hail! Thunderstorms follwoed and the lights flickered omniously but thankfully power stayed on. Quite a mixture of weather but by most peoples standards it was pretty ordinairy!
Expecting a deluge of haddock today, or maybe a few frogs!
I must admit having neglected the Field Study report. David deserves better but it takes me a long time to summon the energy for these things and Australia is a long way away!

Corn-gratulation'z on yer art sales. That'z great to hear. Our weather is unseasonably warm (El Nineo they say...) Snow is melting in the Cascade Mountains and flooding the lowlands which also means our snowpak accumulation will be below normal for the winter so we'll have water shortages this summer.

The good news is that it'z been warm enough for me to toss a few horseshoes! A bit muddy, but I've got water buckets at each end of the court to dip the muddy shoes into before each toss.

The Dylan mailart is just pouring in! I'm really having a great response. Been thinking about putting together a CDR for all the contributors at the end...

All the best to you and Syl... see you in the mail soon!
